Powerscourt Estate Shortlisted For The Green Awards 2026
A big congratulations to our member business Powerscourt Estate who has been shortlisted for this year’s Green Awards, 2026. The Green Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Irish businesses committed to consistently improving in their sustainability practices. There is no surprise in Powerscourt Estate being highlighted for this accolade as Powerscourt Estate has been inspiring the way for many years now, achieving certification with us in 2023.
It is clear their slogan ‘Working with Nature’ encapsulates the ethos of Powerscourt and is the driving force behind all they do. In the last year the team have been doing trojan work in embedding the environmental mindset and spreading their knowledge of biodiversity conservation with their team and visitors, through the many events they hold such as the recently inaugurated Nature Awards and Wonder of Trees Experience, to name a few.
They recently completed the EU funded I-STARS training programme, which we were delighted to partner on through our sister company Vagabond Tours. Powerscourt Estate are currently working on becoming Net Zero by 2025.
