Roisin Finlay
Roisin Finlay joined the Sustainable Travel Ireland team from running Outsider magazine for the last 15 years. As editor of Ireland’s leading outdoor and adventure publication, she was the jammy one with a ‘job’ that meant lots of outdoor fun, travel, activity and writing. In an era defined by the climate change emergency, Roisin now wants to use her considerable energy and experience to help the travel industry transition to a sustainable future.
Roisin holds the Profession Certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, a BA in French and English from University College Dublin and an MA in European Integration from the University of Limerick. She is also currently waiting to graduate from Munster Technological University’s Certificate in Nature Animation, which examines the space where tourism/recreation and nature/biodiversity intersect, and how we can and must do better to conserve our precious wild places.
